Undersecretary of State Jarosław Neneman

He is an economist and university lecturer at the University of Lodz and Lazarski University in Warsaw.

He graduated from the University of Lodz, Faculty of Economics and Sociology. During his postgraduate studies in economics at the Central European University in Prague, he received an MA in Economics from New York University. In 1997, under the guidance of Marek Belka, he received a PhD in Economics from the University of Lodz.

At the beginning of his career, he worked at the Institute of Economics at the University of Lodz as an assistant, then as an assistant professor.

In 2003, he became an advisor of the Ministry of Finance. In 2004-2005 and 2006 he was undersecretary of state at the Ministry of Finance in charge of tax policy and legislation. He again took the position of deputy finance minister in 2014-2015.

From 2010 to 2014 he also served as social advisor to the President of Poland on local government.

Author of numerous scientific and teaching publications.
