08.11.2021Detained for crossing the border illegallyOfficers from the Border Guard Station in Wojtkowa detained two Azerbaijani citizens for crossing the Polish-Ukrainian border on foot. Before that, the foreigners had unsuccessfully tried to enter Poland through the railway border crossing. As established, they were declared to be undesirable persons in the EU Member States.

08.11.2021Suspension of border traffic in KuźnicaDue to the current situation at the Polish-Belarusian border, border traffic at the road border crossing in Kuźnica shall be suspended from 07:00 a.m. on 9th November 2021 until further notice. Travellers should go to the border crossings in Terespol and Bobrowniki.

We will not allow any illegal migration route to Europe to pass through Poland,' said Minister Mariusz Kamiński on Thursday (4 November) during a press conference. The Head of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration unveiled details of the construction of the barrier on the Poland-Belarus border. He also presented a visualisation of the installation.

27.10.2021Senate committees have adopted the Act on the construction of state border protection installations– The current situation forces Poland to immediately undertake further projects that significantly affect the level of protection of the state border, the external border of the European Union, said Deputy Minister Maciej Wąsik. The Deputy Minister of the Interior took part in today's (26 October) joint meeting of the Committee on Local Self-Government and State Administration and the Committee on Human Rights, the Rule of Law and Petitions of the Senate of the Republic of Poland. The committees dealt with consideration of the Act on the construction of state border security installations.
