Poland signed the European Convention for the Protection of Audiovisual Heritage

On December 15, 2020, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Poland to the Council of Europe, Ambassador Jerzy Baurski, signed on behalf of Poland the European Convention for the Protection of Audiovisual Heritage (CETS No. 183). The ceremony of signing the Convention was attended by the Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Mrs. Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni.

Poland has thus become the twentieth signatory to the Convention, which has so far been ratified by 11 member states of the Council of Europe.

The Convention for the Protection of Audiovisual Heritage entered into force on January 1, 2008.
