Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin: EXPO2020 is an opportunity for rapid economic growth

The Polish preparations for the 2020 EXPO in Dubai, the opportunities the trade show affords to Polish companies, as well as the return to the fast track of economic growth in the aftermath of the pandemic were the main topics of today's meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin and the Board of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.

Two weeks ago the Polish Investment and Trade Agency joined the group of agencies supervised by the Ministry of Economic Development, Labour and Technology. Today, Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin met with Grzegorz Słomkowski, Vice-President of PITA, Adrian Malinowski, Commissioner General of the Polish Section of EXPO 2020 Dubai and Monika Dyląg-Sajór, Deputy Commissioner General of the Polish Section of EXPO 2020 Dubai


Poland will participate in the world’s largest economic and promotional event – EXPO 2020 in Dubai.

Poland’s presence at this event will present numerous opportunities to establish business relations with partners in the Middle East, as well as to exchange business experiences. The 2020 EXPO will be a space for promoting Polish economy – resulting in significant benefits to the international brand of our country

Poland joins the ranks of countries building their own pavilion at the EXPO 2020, headlined: Poland. Creativity inspired by nature. The Polish Pavilion will be a venue for presenting information about Poland. 

The project has been given a second life and a second wind, which allowed it to gain speed and momentum. The construction of the pavilion is now well underway

We would like to remind you that the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development is currently running the "Go to Brand - EPO 2020" programme. "Go to Brand" is one of the key elements of the economic programme accompanying Poland's participation in the 2020 EXPO in Dubai,  and you may submit your applications from 26 February to 29 March. The programme opens the way for entrepreneurs to obtain financial support for promotion in the United Arab Emirates. The amount earmarked for co-financing projects submitted as part of the competition is 50 million PLN. The call for proposals opens on 26 February. Click here for details.


The Dubai Expo will take place from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022.
