The deputy ministers took stock of the countries' political relations. They discussed the situation in the Middle East and Europe, including the one in Ukraine, as well as the possibility of deepening cooperation in defence, investments, new technologies, agriculture, trade, and transport. The diplomats also considered extending the set of bilateral treaties. On top of this, Deputy Minister Szejna spoke with Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi.

It was the fourth edition of political consultations at deputy ministers' level. The previous rounds took place in Muscat (2019) and in Warsaw (2023), with the 2022 edition organised as a videoconference.

On the sidelines of his visit to Oman's capital, Secretary of State Andrzej Szejna held a meeting at the “Invest Oman‟ agency to discuss possible support for bilateral exchange in trade and investments. The deputy chief of Polish diplomacy also took part in a concert organised by the Polish Embassy in Riyadh for the local Polish diaspora and Omani guests on the occasion of the upcoming National Independence Day.
