Due to the aggressive actions of the Belarusian KGB towards diplomats of the Republic of Poland accredited on the territory of the Republic of Belarus and of third countries, and further to the note of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus of 11 December 2024, the Polish MFA summoned Belarusian Chargé d’Affaires Aleksei Ponkratenko on 18 December 2024.

During the meeting, the Belarusian diplomat was handed a note expressing a firm protest against the above actions and was informed that if such provocations continue, the Polish side will be responding symmetrically.
