The talks concerning the Polish–Malaysian bilateral relations and international security, including in Ukraine and the Middle East, were held in a very friendly atmosphere.

The Polish side stressed the desire to strengthen the cooperation in the field of both countries’ defence systems. The representatives also highlighted Poland’s willingness to join the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia.
The Malaysian side appreciates the significance of the fact that next year Poland will hold the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, while Malaysia will assume the chairmanship of ASEAN (the Association of Southeast Asian Nations).
The interlocutors agreed that this may lead to more intensive cooperation. Moreover, the Polish delegation recommended Polish solutions in the field of public and banking services digitalisation.
In the context of the Malaysian Prime Minister’s upcoming visit at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Poland presented its stance on the Russian aggression against Ukraine. Malaysia's Prime Minister declared that he would refer to the Polish perspective during his talks with President Putin.
