09.08.2024Secretary of State Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski visits JapanDeputy Minister Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski visited Japan on 6–9 August 2024. The minister met with the Japanese government’s representatives: Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Yoichi Fukazawa, Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary Hideki Murai, in charge of Ukraine’s reconstruction, and board members of the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The agenda included future development of the Poland–Japan strategic partnership, established in 2015, Polish–Japanese cooperation in regard to rebuilding Ukraine, and the global political and security situation.

08.08.2024Undersecretary of State Jakub Wiśniewski meets Danish State Secretary for Development Policy Lotte MachonThe talks between Poland’s Deputy Foreign Minister Jakub Wiśniewski and State Secretary for Development Policy Lotte Machon of the Kingdom of Denmark’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs centred on the priorities of the Polish and Danish presidencies with respect to development cooperation and humanitarian aid. Poland and Denmark will consecutively hold Council of the EU presidencies in 2025.
