Due to the situation related to the spread of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and the current epidemic, the General Inspector of Financial Information requests obligated institutions to forward, if possible, notifications referred to in Article 86 of the Act of 1 March 2018 on Counteracting Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. At the same time, the General Inspector emphasizes that the above request results from the pursuit to streamline work – in particular with respect to the examination of notifications and confirmation of their receipt. Should the implementation of this solution have an adverse effect on the organization of work or the ability to fulfill other obligations, the obligated institutions are not obliged to comply with the communication.
