Deputy Minister of Development Funds and Regional Policy Marcin Horała participated in the event inaugurating the European Funds for Pomerania 2021-2027 programme in Gdansk. Representatives of the European Commission and authorities of the Pomorskie voivodeship also participated in the event.
‘The Pomorskie voivodeship has a clear vision of development worked out in social dialogue in the form of the Pomorskie Voivodeship Development Strategy 2030 and five Strategic Regional Programmes that cover key areas. Now it also has the European Funds for Pomerania 2021-2027 programme. The region's excellent performance to date in implementing the previous perspective makes it possible to look to the future with optimism’, Deputy Minister of Development Funds and Regional Policy Marcin Horała said.
‘The region planned the continuation of many projects in its programme, e.g. Invest in Pomerania, developing the network of vocational schools in Pomerania and consistent development of cycling paths. Such long-term measures bring the best and most durable effects. Regeneration is also one of the specialities of Pomerania. In this area, the voivodeship authorities have worked out unique solutions for the implementation of integrated projects involving ERDP and ESF+ resources. This approach will continue in the years 2021-2027’, Deputy Minister added.
