First migration forums blocked

Thanks to the work of Polish special services, first migration forums that took part on Facebook in orchestrating illegal migration to the EU, have been blocked. The cooperation with the service’s administration and the Embassy of the USA resulted in deleting groups participating in this operation having the character of the hybrid war against the West.

The Polish Government administration asked Facebook to block listed groups functioning on the website. The Embassy of the USA was informed about the Polish institutions’ request.

This is the first success of the Polish authorities with regard to blocking groups on social media, which are used to incite the migration route to Poland. The Government continues the dialogue with Facebook and with the American side, in order to block further hybrid activities against Poland.

Institutions responsible for the security of Poland will pursue their activity aimed at stopping Belarussian operations targeted at orchestrating an artificial migration route to the European Union.
