Michał Kurtyka, PhD, Minister of Climate and Environment, to present his ideas for the OECD. Polish candidate for the post of Secretary-General of the OECD will present his ideas for the Organization during the online debate at PISM on 12th of November.
On Thursday, 12 November 2020 14:00-15:00 CET, Michał Kurtyka, Minister of Climate and Environment and Poland’s candidate for Secretary-General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), in conversation with Dr. Patrycja Sasnal, PISM’s head of research, will talk about the challenges facing the organisation.
Introduction by Damian Wnukowski, coordinator of PISM’s Asia-Pacific programme. The discussion will be held in English.

OECD is an international economic organization based in Paris, established in 1961. Poland has been a member of the organization since 1996. The mission of the OECD is to seek and promote the best political and economic solutions to improve the people’s quality of life. The organization also conducts research work focusing on the most important social and economic issues.
