Conquer the climbing wall then relax with a cold brew while listening to the folk band Orchester Praževica. Take part in a mapping and sustainability challenge. Watch a German Shepherd demonstration by Rodina Straze. Stop by the Polish stand to know more about Wanda Rutkiewicz, the first woman to have climbed K2 and the third woman (first European woman) to climb Mount Everest and take some goodies on the way. Learn about top athletes and companies related to mountaineering from EU countries. Delve into how the EU is combating climate change and preserving nature. Try making a tasty trail mix and sample delicious “mountain cuisine” with a demo by Italian Chef Roberto Donna. Check out alpine destinations to visit and more. Enjoy a day of “mountaineering through Europe,” while in the heart of Washington, DC.

Parking: Non-metered parking is available on Spring of Freedom Street and Tilden Street.
Closest Metro: The Embassy of the Czech Republic is about a 15-20 minute walk from the Van Ness Metro Station.
