Minister Radosław Sikorski to visit Washington, D.C.

On 3-5 May, Minister Radosław Sikorski will visit Washington, D.C., to hold scheduled bilateral meetings with the representatives of US administration and think tanks. The topics to be covered mainly include Polish-American cooperation, including in the area of security, Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, and preparations for this year’s Washington NATO summit.

While in the US capital, Minister Sikorski will take part in a panel discussion during a conference on the war in Ukraine, held as part of the Financial Times Weekend Festival, where he will present reasons to provide further support for Kyiv and argue the case for the West’s close cooperation on the issue. The minister will also give interviews to US media to elaborate on Poland’s position on the security situation in our region.
