Call for proposals for participation in the Banach Scholarship Programme

The National Agency for Academic Exchange announced a call for applications for participation in the scholarship program. Stefan Banach (second-cycle studies or preparatory course from the winter semester 2024/25).
The program aims to support the socio-economic development of developing countries by improving the level of education and professional qualifications of citizens of these countries. The program is an initiative implemented as part of the Polish development assistance program in cooperation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Science and Higher Education.
The scholarship offer under the program is addressed to the following countries:
Albania, Angola, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Montenegro, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Philippines, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Colombia, Kosovo, Lebanon, North Macedonia, Mexico, Moldova, Mongolia, Nepal, Nigeria, Palestine, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Rwanda, Senegal, Serbia, Tanzania, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Vietnam, Zambia.
The program allows you to undertake second-cycle studies at universities supervised by the Minister of Science and Higher Education. It is also possible to participate in a preparatory course preceding studies in Poland (Polish-language path of the program) or a summer course of Polish language and culture (English-language path of the program).
As part of the current call for applications, the program countries have been divided into four groups. Recruitment is conducted separately for each group of countries (details can be found in the Recruitment Announcement).

Applications should be submitted in Polish or English via the NAWA IT system: https://programs.nawa.gov.pl/login by June 27, 2024 at 3 p.m. The application period will be open until June 27 at 15.00 or until 400 applications have been submitted (the recruitment may be closed earlier if 400 applications are submitted in a given group of countries).
