Improving the conditions of probation service facilities in Armenia (Armavir)

On November 25th the closing ceremony of „Improving the conditions of probation service facilities in Armenia” project was held at the regional probation office in Armavir.
The goal of the project is favorable infrastructure conditions creating for State Probation Service’s Armavir regional offices, providing better environment for the Probation Service to implement responsibilities and functions and thus contribute to the reintegration of the beneficiaries into the society.
Thanks to the support of #PolishAid, two regional offices of the RA's State Probation Service were renovated this year. Due to that the employees and beneficiaries of the project already have improved working environment and favorable conditions for the provision of the rehabilitation programs and trainings. The renovation of 2 probation service offices in the Armavir region is of particular importance, as the region is home to the largest prison in Armenia and it is planned to include a large number of people from this facility in probation.
First Secretary of the Polish Embassy in Yerevan thanked the management of Eurasia CPO (implementer of the project) and Gevorg Simonyan - head of RA's State Probation Service, for excellent cooperation during the implementation of the project.
The project is implemented by Eurasia CPO as part of the Polish development cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
