Polish Institutes have new websites at www.instytutpolski.pl and the #DiscoverPoland campaign launches
17.06.2020
“Please feel invited for a virtual trip round our country with the new websites and the campaign. We want to encourage people abroad to get to know Poland and visit us once it is possible,” said Deputy Minister Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk at a press briefing.
Twenty-five Polish Institutes, which have been promoting Poland globally for years now, are currently encouraging everyone to discover it online. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the Institutes have been preparing their original events and campaigns which attract great attention. The new, redesigned websites have a modern and uniform layout, as well as a new internet address using a common domain at instytutpolski.pl.
“It’s not a merely cosmetic change – we want the websites to be a new medium spreading interesting and important news about Poland, Poles, our culture and history. In a word, it’s a virtual knowledge base about Poland at this exceptional moment for all of us,” underlined the deputy minister.
The Polish Institutes will also engage in a social media campaign tagged #DiscoverPoland which aims at inspiring foreigners to get to know Poland. The campaign will enable them to discover our country online, and afterwards to come and see it in person. #DiscoverPoland will take you on a virtual sightseeing tour across Poland, and help you explore its culture, history, nature and traditional cuisine.
The campaign will be run on social media by the MFA with the support of Poland’s missions abroad, and particularly the Polish Institutes. Following Polonia4Neighbours and #Poland@yourhome, #DiscoverPoland is another large-scale online campaign.
