Support and promotion of bio-waste composting in the Armavir region

This year the project entitled "Support and promotion of bio-waste composting in the Armavir region" was implemented in various towns in the province of Armavir.
The aim of the project was to raise the awareness level of stakeholders, especially youth, about composting by installing more than 20 composting bins and conducting training on proper organic waste management. The compost bins have been placed in the regional schools as well as at the several local farms.
On December 7th the certificates on "Support and promotion of bio-waste composting in the Armavir region" project were signed. In frames of the event the training for young people was conducted by "ISSD" - Innovative Solutions for Sustainable Development of Communities " organization representative.
The event was attended by Tomasz Bujko, I secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Yerevan.
The project is implemented by ISSD - Innovative Solutions for Sustainable Development of Communities within the framework of the Polish development cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland (#PolishAid).
