Thesaurus Poloniae scholarship program

Thesaurus Poloniae is a three-month scholarship programme of the Ministry of Culture, National Heritage and Sport, organised by the International Cultural Centre in Krakow since autumn 2009.

Thesaurus Poloniae program is aimed to international scholars conducting research on the culture, history and multicultural heritage of the Republic of Poland and Central Europe.
The programme is open to researchers whose work involves management and protection of cultural heritage, as well as to those working in the fields of history, sociology, ethnography, anthropology, etc.

Successful candidates receive a scholarship (PLN 3,500, approx. EUR 770 for the Senior programme participants and PLN 2,500, approx. EUR 550 for Junior programme participants per month) and a one-time grant, paid together with the first scholarship, for the purchase of books and other materials (1,500 PLN, approx. 330 EURO).

So far, 24 editions of the program have taken place, in which scientists from countries such as Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Belarus, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Estonia, France, Georgia, Spain, Iraq, Iran, Japan took part. , Canada, Lithuania, Latvia, Macedonia, Mexico, Moldova, Germany, Russia, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Syria, Ukraine, USA, Hungary, Great Britain, Italy.

The final date for application submittal is 31 December 2021.
