An earthquake in Vanuatu - information update

On Tuesday, December 17, an earthquake of 7.3 on the Richter magnintude scale hit Vanuatu. The epicentre was located 30 km from the capital city - Port Vila. The earthquake was followed by aftershocks. The scale of destruction is large. Air connections are currently impossible. The power supply infrastructure has been damaged, telephones are not operating, many buildings have collapsed.
Therefore, we advise against traveling to this country until the situation is under control and stabilised and threats are eliminated.
