Embassies’ Open Day in Canberra
21.10.2023
Embassy of the Republic of Poland took part in the festival “Windows to the World” organised on 21 October by the ACT Government. Our guests had an opportunity to get to know more about Polish-Australian connections, enjoy traditional Polish folk dances and try specialties of Polish cuisine.
Visitors were taken on a guided tour of the embassy building where, among others, had an opportunity to take a picture next to the original plaque unveiled on Australia’s highest peak, Mt Kosciuszko, in 1940. Guests had an opportunity to try various kinds of Polish pierogi (dumplings) and to enjoy a performance of the Polish Dance Group 'Wielkopolska' from Canberra.
