Fryderyk Chopin’s Birthday Concert

On the occasion of the 211st anniversary of the birth of Poland’s greatest composer, Fryderyk Chopin, a concert of his music by Alexander Yau took place at the Embassy on March 18, 2021. Among the audience were representatives of the federal parliament, the diplomatic corps, people of culture and science, as well as members and supporters of the association Friends of Chopin Australia, which co-organized the event.
Alexander Yau is the recipient of a special prize at the 3rd Australian International Chopin Piano Competition organized in Canberra in 2017 by the Friends of Chopin Australia.
