Exhibition: "Mom, I don't want war!" in Australia

The launch in Canberra of the exhibition of drawings of Polish and Ukrainian children, presenting respectively memories of World War II and experiences of the current Russia’s invasion on Ukraine took place on 30 September at the Australian National University’s Centre for European Studies.

Mom, I don't want war!

The event gathered representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, diplomatic corps, academia, students and members of Ukrainian community.

The exhibition will be open to general public until mid-October at the second floor of the Research School of Social Sciences ANU building. Address: 146 Ellery Crescent Acton, ACT 2601.

The presentation of the exhibition in Canberra is co-organised by the ANU Centre for European Studies, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Canberra and the Embassy of Ukraine in Canberra.

The exhibition was shown at the Consulate General of Poland in Sydney on 8 September, as part of the commemorations of the 83rd anniversary of the outbreak of World War II.

The exhibition is being displayed in over 30 locations in Poland as well as many places all over the world, through cooperation between Polish and Ukrainian missions, and their local partners.
