In 2022 we celebrate 50 years since the establishment of Polish-Australian diplomatic relations. However, people-to-people links between Poland and Australia extend well beyond the last five decades.
To mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Poland and Australia (established on 20 February 1972), the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Canberra and the Polish Community Council of Australia Inc. have put together a special publication, presenting interesting and often little-known facts from the history of Polish-Australian contacts from the early European settlement in Australia in 19th century until today.
