Poland in Australia

Unity Gala was held under the theme of Polish Heritage Days, celebrated worldwide throughout the month of May to promote Polish culture, heritage and contribution that Poles make to the cultural, economic and social life of their countries of residence. Besides the Governor of New South Wales The Hon. Margaret Beazley, AC, KC, the event gathered state parliamentarians, representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, business people and members of the Polish community.

“The Unity: Stories about Us” project was carried out by the Polish-Australian Business Forum in 2022, with support of the Polish Embassy in Canberra, as part of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Poland and Australia. The project presents ten stories of Poles living in Australia or Australians with Polish roots from various walks of life, who distinguished themselves in their field of activity.
