Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine has prompted a massive humanitarian crisis that has caused almost 4 million people to flee their home country, with most finding shelter in Poland. We strongly encourage you to donate to verified, reputable organizations that are either assisting refugees arriving in Poland or providing help directly in Ukraine. The Aid Fund is used to purchase medicine, hygiene products, food, clothing and other necessary products that are transported to Ukraine.

The Aid Fund is coordinated by the Government Strategic Reserves Agency – the coordinator of humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

AID FUND TO SUPPORT REFUGEES IN POLAND

The Aid Fund is used to provide:

  • payment of family, parental and social assistance benefits to refugees from Ukraine
  • psychological and medical care for refugees, including the purchase and provision of medical products
  • reception center services for refugees
  • free travel by public transportation
  • nursery and primary school education of Ukrainian children

The Aid Fund is coordinated by the Polish Development Bank (BGK).
