Reception on the occasion of Christmas

On the occasion of the upcoming Christmas, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Poland to the Council of Europe, Jerzy Baurski and his wife, gave a ceremonial reception, preceded by a concert of outstanding artists of the Polish music scene: Ms Renata Żełobowska-Orzechowska - piano, Ms Iwona Socha - soprano and Mr Jakub Oczkowski - tenor.
The artists are known to audiences of opera and classical music both in Poland and abroad.
The event was attended by ambassadors and their deputies accredited to the Council of Europe and representatives of this organization. At the mission premises, Ambassador Baurski greeted the participants with Christmas and New Year wishes, followed by a concert of Polish Christmas carols and Christmas songs. At the end, all gathered, with the support of Polish musicians, sang together "Silent Night".
