Polish-Danish music at Musikforum Festival in Copenhagen

Polish-Danish music from Baroque period to the present was the main theme of the Musikforum Festival 2021.

On 25-26 November 2021 the Musikforum Festival, organized in Rundetaarn, featured the works of the most prominent Polish composers of the time, including Fryderyk Chopin, Witold Lutosławski, Karol Szymanowski and Stanisław Szarzyński. Their musical pieces were performed by Danish and Polish musicians: Duo1702, pianist Rikke Sandberg and cellist Tobias van der Pals, Duo Diagonal, Rudersdal Kammersolister, flutist Karolina Leedo and pianist Karolina Bogus.

The Festival gave the Danish audience an opportunity to experience the rich musical culture of Poland. Polish composer Rafal Augustyn was a special guest at the festival.
