Two Polish short films, "The Last Whistle" by Karol Lindholm, and "Co-ognition" by Przemysław Świda, were presented during the Odense International Film Festival – OFF 21 (30 August - 5 September). The festival was accompanied by workshops, seminars and discussions.

The film "The Last Whistle" was selected to the Festival's International Competition from among 4000 titles. It presents the story of 14-year-old boy, who prepares for a swimming marathon. After the screening, the audience had a chance to participate in Q&A session with the director Karol Lindholm. "Co-ognition” by Przemysław Świda took part in the competition for the best animation. The film presents an abstract vision of shaping one's own personality with a use of a comic and press style.

For many years the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Copenhagen participates in the Odense International Film Festival, which is Denmark’s biggest short film festival.  With its launch in 1975, it is also the country’s oldest . OFF is considered to be the most courageous and most adventurous short film festival in the country and was acknowledged as Denmark’s first Oscar qualifying film festival.
