The exhibition shows war tragedies and fights of Polish soldiers undertaken to regain freedom and independence by Poland, including the story of an intelligence network cell "Felicja" operating in Denmark, commanded by Lieutenant Lucjan Masłocha, and its cooperation with the Danish resistance movement "Holger Danske". Part of the exhibition "Fighting and Suffering" is devoted to the activities of the Danish intelligence during the Cold War and its cooperation with the US intelligence aimed at possible assistance to Polish anti-communist movements.

The project was carried out by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Copenhagen in cooperation with the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk and the Cold War Museum Fort Langeland.
