On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Weimar Triangle, Mateusz Mońko, chargé d'affaires a.i. of Poland in Denmark hosted a meeting with Ambassador of France to Denmark Caroline Ferrari, chargé d'affaires a.i. of Germany to Denmark Joachim Bleicker, State Secretary for European affairs at the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Carsten Grønbech-Jensen and Lykke Friis, director of the Danish think tank Europa. The current agenda of the European Union and bilateral relations between Poland, France, Germany and Denmark were discussed during the meeting.

The Weimar Triangle was set up in Weimar in August 1991 by the then foreign ministers of Poland, France, and Germany. Its aim was to overcome the divisions in Europe by integrating Poland into European and Euro-Atlantic structures and to facilitate the cooperation between the Triangle countries.
