Department of State Information Architecture

We shape Poland’s information architecture and work to ensure the interoperability of its ICT systems; we also manage the project portfolio of the Minister of Digital Affairs and shape the e-Administration establishment and development policy.

Department tasks

•    Shaping the State's Information Architecture and ensuring the interoperability of public entity ICT systems,
•    Creating a policy for managing data processed in public entity ICT systems and a policy in the area of e-administration building and development, including electronic documentation management,
•    Managing the portfolio of projects implemented by the Minister and handling matters related to the functioning of the Ministry's Portfolio Council,
•    Providing substantive support for the Minister in the field of strategic government documents, including strategic government documents, and handling matters related to the implementation and monitoring of the implementation of the National Integrated Informatisation Programme,
•    Handling affairs related to the functioning of the Council of Ministers Committee for Digital Affairs, including managing its secretariat,
•    Conducting strategic analyses in the field related to digital affairs as well as handling and coordinating matters related to the functioning of the "From Paper to Digital Poland" team,
•    Providing substantive support for the work of the Council for Digital Affairs and the Council of IT Directors,
•    Coordination and implementation of activities in the area of digital affairs for the cooperation of central administration units with local government units to improve the efficiency of the state’s functioning,
•    Implementation of tasks resulting from the performance by the Minister of the function of the Partnership Agreement Environment Institution in the scope of Operational Programme Digital Poland Priority Axis II and the function of the 1st Level Intermediate Body for Priority Axes 7 and 8 of the Innovative Economy Operational Programme.
