Polish diplomats visited places of national remembrance

On All Saints' Day, in accordance with Polish tradition, diplomats of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Cairo - chargé d’affaires a.i. Michał Chabros and defense attaché Col. Bernard Olszak, accompanied by representatives of the Egyptian Polish community, lit candles and laid flowers at the resting places of Poles:
- At the Commonwealth War Cemetery in Tel el-Kebir near Ismailia, where 66 soldiers, participants and victims of World War II are buried.
- At the Commonwealth War Cemetery in Heliopolis (Cairo), where 30 soldiers, participants and victims of World War II are buried.
- At the Great Latin Cemetery in Cairo, where representatives of the Polish community are buried, including Mrs. Teresa Pfabe-Kamal, the doyen of the Cairo Polish community.
