The beginnings of the Association date back to 1988, when the Society of Polish Culture "Polonia" started its activity. Then, in 1995, the Society was transformed into the Union of Poles in Estonia "Polonia".

The Union organizes Polish language courses, celebrations commemorating the most important Polish holidays and conducts other activities supporting the Polish minority in Estonia.
