Poland in Estonia

Professor Krzysztof Zanussi paid a visit to Estonia on November 11-14, 2022, at the invitation of the Black Nights International Film Festival (PÖFF) and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland. During the opening gala of the Festival PÖFF he received the prestigious lifetime achievement award. He opened a special screening - the international premiere of his latest film "The Perfect Number" and after the screening he answered questions from the audience. He also took part in an author's meeting with high school students, students and teachers of film and theater studies at Studio Theatrum.

Krzysztof Zanussi also attended concerts of Polish music of the 19th and 20th centuries interpreted by Polish chamber musicians. The concerts were held in the frames of the Polish Autumn Festival co-organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tallinn, the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater and the Estonian National Museum of Art - Kadriorg Palace. The visit ended with a meeting at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tallinn.
