The gala concert of the laureates of the 15th International Chopin Piano Competition, Narva 2023

On February 5, the gala concert featuring the laureates of the 15th International Chopin Competition for young pianists, Narva 2023, was held in the Tallinn School of Music and Ballet.

The gala concert was opened by Ms Wanda Zwinogrodzka, Undersecretary of State of the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Ambassador Grzegorz Kozłowski and Mr Tarvi Sits, Secretary General of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Estonia. During the ceremony, the Undersecretary of State, Mrs. Wanda Zwinogrodzka, read out a letter from the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Piotr Gliński.

The event was attended by several hundred invited guests, representatives of Estonian ministries, parliament, diplomatic corps, Polish diaspora and Poles living in Estonia, as well as representatives of the media, business and students of music schools. The entire event was broadcast live by the public radio ERR.

The concert was the culmination of the 15th International Chopin Competition for young pianists, Narva 2023, which was traditionally held under the patronage of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland and the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Estonia. 21 pianists from 12 countries took part in this year's competition.

1st age group:

1st Prize – Matthea Ranran Zhao (UK)

2nd Prize – Ingmar Poll (Estonia)

3rd Prize – Yifan Liu (China)

2nd age group:

1st Prize – Zuzanna Maria Krystian-Browalska (Poland)

2nd Prize – Ustinia Orlova (Estonia)

3rd age group:

Grand-Prix – Elizaveta Coroli (Moldova)

2nd Prize – Dominika Wiktoria Rak (Poland)

3rd Prize –  Efe Sen (Turkey)
