Magdalena Bem-Andrzejewska
Director of the National Contact Point at the National Centre for Research and Development
Magdalena Bem-Andrzejewska graduated with a degree in French philology from the University of Warsaw and has a doctoral certificate in management and marketing from the Warsaw School of Economics. She also completed a diploma in European Integration Studies issued jointly by the Polish National School of Public Administration and the Ecole Nationale d’Administration in Paris. She has undertaken internships in French and Belgian public administration focusing on R&D policy-making.
Magdalena is a manager with extensive experience in public administration; she specializes in R&D in the context of international cooperation and PR. She has represented Poland in numerous international bodies such as OECD committees, the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures, the Strategic Forum for International S&T Cooperation and the High Council of the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. Prior to joining the National Centre for Research and Development, she was director of the Minister’s Office at the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, responsible i.a. for public information strategies and PR connected with the implementation of cross-cutting reforms in science and higher education.
