First meeting of the Monitoring Committee for the European Funds for Migration, Borders and Security 2021-2027

On Friday, 21 April 2023, the first meeting of the Monitoring Committee for the European Funds for Migration, Borders and Security 2021-2027 was held at the Ministry of the Interior and Administration and via electronic means of communication.
Deputy Chairman of the Monitoring Committee, Mr. Maciej Kaczorowski, Director of the European Funds Department at the Ministry of Interior and Administration, opened and chaired the meeting.
The meeting of the Monitoring Committee was attended by its members, in accordance with § 3 of the Order No. 4 of the Minister of the Interior and Administration of 3 March 2023 on the establishment of the Monitoring Committee for European Funds for Migration, Borders and Security 2021-2027, as well as representatives of the Managing and Intermediary Authority for the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund, the Internal Security Fund and the Instrument for Financial Support for Border and Policy Management for the years 2021-2027. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the European Commission and other observers.
The Monitoring Committee unanimously adopted the Resolution No 1 on the Committee’s Rules of Procedure.
In addition, the participants of the meeting were informed about the state of implementation of the Internal Security Fund and the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund for the years 2014-2020 and about the state of work on the implementation of the European Funds for Migration, Borders and Security 2021-2027.
The launch of the Monitoring Committee will allow monitoring and effective implementation of the European Funds for Migration, Borders and Security 2021-2027.
