BROCHURE

The activities carried out under the MIA Programme " Home Affairs " NMF 2014-2021 have shown that a comprehensive and coordinated approach to security, migration and crisis management brings real and lasting benefits. The implementation of projects and initiatives in each of the areas contributed, among others, to:

• improving public safety and increasing international cooperation in combating crime – projects enabled the provision of specialist equipment and increased capacity of services in areas identified by Project Promotors

• improving asylum procedures and increasing the protection and integration of migrants – psychological support and legal assistance

• increasing the capacity of services in the event of a crisis and increasing public awareness of how to proceed in the event of a disaster – developing response schemes to CBRNE threats.

The brochure, developed based on information from project and initiative Project Promotors, summarises activities in the NMF 2014-2021 “Home Affairs” Programme and illustrates the complexity and multi-faceted nature of the projects and initiatives being implemented.

The brochure is not only a source of information on achievements to date, but also indicates directions for the future, emphasising the need for further actions to strengthen security structures.

The brochure contains information as of September 2024.
