This is a very important anniversary not only for us Poles, but also for the whole world, Catholics, clergy, intellectuals and all people who value life, freedom, dialogue and culture.

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Karol Wojtyła, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland in co-operation with many cultural institutions in Poland prepared a number of cultural, educational and scientific events and projects that bring us closer to the life and achievements of Pope John Paul II.
