On January 18, 2021, the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Athens, Artur Lompart, met with the Greek Minister Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos at the Ministry of National Defense.

During the meeting, the topics of further development of cooperation in the defense sector were discussed. Moreover, the interlocutors exchanged views on the cooperation of the two countries within the EU and NATO as well as threats to security and stability in the Eastern Mediterranean region.

The Polish ambassador was accompanied by: the Head of the Political and Economic Section of the Embassy, First Counselor T. Wiśniewski and Defense Attaché, Col. Z. Rybka.
