Polish artists in concerts on the island of Syros and Santorini

The outstanding Polish cellist and Rector of the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, professor Tomasz Strahl and violinists Hanna Chylińska, Maria Korczyńska and Zofia Zowczak will give concerts on August 23 and 25, at 20.00, in the frame of the 8th International Festival "ANO".
This year's festival is dedicated to the great Greek composer - from Cyclades islands - Nikos Skalkotas and for the first time will present to the public the ANO FESTIVAL ORCHESTRA (AFO), consisting of young musicians from Greece, Poland and the Czech Republic together with experienced musicians of the State Orchestra of Athens under the direction of the artistic director of the Festival and excellent international conductor Stefanos Tsialis.
The concerts will take place in the courtyard of the Monastery of the Holy Brothers of Mercy in Ermoupolis and in the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Fira on the island of Santorini.
