Polish short films screened in Athens

Two Polish shorts “Laika” and “Elizabeth” were screened in Athens during the “Petit Plan Screenings: Europa” festival, from 3rd to 6th of February.

Over 1000 high school students from all over Attica had the opportunity to watch the Polish films “Laika” directed by A. Duda and “Elizabeth” directed by W. Klimala among other 41 movies from various European countries. Works screened in the framework of Petit Plan Screenings focused on promoting European values, while addressed issues related to teenagers lives, such as the proper use of social media, the school environment, education, school bullying,  peer pressure etc.

 

Petit Plan Screenings: Europa was organized in collaboration with the Representation of the European Commission in Greece, the Hellenic American College, Hellenic American Union, Cervantes Institute and the embassies of Norway, Switzerland, France, Israel and Poland.
