The Battle of Warsaw 1920.

On the occasion of the upcoming 100th anniversary of the Battle of Warsaw, we invite you to visit a unique historical exhibition devoted to the Polish victory in 1920.

The Battle of Warsaw also known as the Miracle of the Vistula, was the decisive battle of the Polish-Bolshevik war fought on August 12-25, 1920, when Poland being on the verge of defeat, repulsed and defeated the Red Army.  In the following months several more Polish victories secured Poland’s independence and led to the signing of the peace treaty with Soviet Russia and Soviet Ukraine later that year, securing the eastern boarders of the Polish State until 1939.  

In celebration of the historic anniversary we invite you to see the exhibition devoted to the Battle of Warsaw, prepared by the Military Center for Civil education of the Ministry of National defense of the Republic of Poland. The exhibition is available in Polish and English.
