Ocean of Changes competition
16.11.2021
What do YOU think the world will look like in 2050?
Institute of Oceanology with Storware, Today We Have, Ocean of Changes and Sopot Science Association decided to organize a competition encouraging you to share your vision of the world in 2050.
Do you base your beliefs about climate change on post-apocalyptic films? Or maybe you believe that climate change can no longer be stopped? That there's nothing we can do because it's too late? Do you think the climate will change regardless of our actions, and your involvement will not change anything here?
Gather your team and join the competition and discussion panel on the future of our planet — your voice matters!
Find out more about the competition at www.oceanofchanges.com 🌐
This competition will be also a part of the discussion panel is: Ocean of changes - How to efficiently use online resources to promote sustainable development? during IGF 2021 in Katowice. The panelists will discuss how the pandemic situation influenced the popularization of online education and meetings.
They will also consider how to direct society to search for reliable sources (fact checking) regarding global change (climate and ocean changes). Each panelist will present her/his point of view on various types of knowledge transfer, depending on the voice they represent (educators, scientists, IT, business, decision makers).
During the discussion, the panelists will refer to the artistic works submitted in the competition: OCEAN OF CHANGES - What do you think the world will look like in 2050?
Deadline for submitting works: November 26
