We mourn Chosrou Sinai, a prominent Iranian film director, who passed away on August 1 at the age of 80.
In 1983 he directed “The Lost Requiem”, a documentary about thousands of Poles who found shelter in Iran during World War II. In 2008 Chosrou Sinai was decorated with “The Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland”.
As producer, screenplay writer, director and editor he authored about 110 short films, documentaries, and features. He won multiple awards in both domestic and international film festivals.
