Celebrations of the 3rd of May Constitution Day at the Polish Military Contingent (Iraq) in al-Assad airbase

On 2nd-3rd of May 2021 H.E. Mr. Marcin Kubiak, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Baghdad and the Polish Defence Attaché, Col.Marcin Chruśliński paid a visit to the Polish Military Contingent in Iraq (PMC Iraq) in al-Assad airbase in the al-Anbar governorate.
During their stay they participated in the celebrations of the 3rd of May Constitution Day at the invitation of the Commander of the PMC Iraq, col.Mirosław Bodnar. Amb.M.Kubiak took this opportunity to deliver occasional speech on the historical background of the 3rd of May Constitution, stressing also its unique and symbolical importance for many generations of Poles as well as for all nations of Central and Eastern Europe that contributed to the achievements of the former First Commonwealth. Furthermore amb.M.Kubiak thanked PMC Iraq members for their service which contributed to the consolidation of positive image of Poland in Iraq as well as strengthening of its position in the international arena.
