Changes to travel insurance rules

From October 1st, 2024, the requirements for travel insurance, required in the visa process will change.

CG Announcement

Due to the problems reported in the Schengen countries related to travel medical insurance offered by Iraqi companies, the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Erbil starting from October 1st will accept only travel insurance purchased from insurance companies operating in Poland, which operate under the Polish Insurance Association. This change will ensure your safety during your stay in Poland and/or the European Union. A detailed list can be found HERE
