Poland in Iraq

The interlocutors discussed the current challenges ahead of the Erbil province administration which include among others the COVID-19 pandemic crisis (significant increase in the number of new infections particularly with the new Delta variant), but also severe shortages in water supply for the ecosystem of the region impacting the agro production and daily existence of the people. Furthermore the parties also discussed the chances of cooperation between voivodeships in the Republic of Poland and the Erbil province in the scope of agricultural development and food production as well as energy sector and academic exchange.
