IGF (Internet Governance Forum) is an international meeting held at the International Congress Center in Katowice, at the initiative of the United Nations, enabling a global discussion on the development of the Internet. It is a place for exchanging thoughts and experiences in the field of Internet governance.
The 2021 Internet Governance Forum will bring together policy-makers, entrepreneurs, representatives of academia and non-governmental organisations. Thousands of people from all over the world will spend several days debating the opportunities and challenges posed by the Internet, as well as ways to fully exploit its potential.
For the first time in history, Poland will host the global edition of the Internet Governance Forum organised by the UN. The event, organised by the Ministry of Digital Affairs, will take place in Q4 2021 at the Katowice International Congress Centre.
The 2021 IGF, headlined by the motto “Internet United”, will be a place of open and real debate about the future of Internet platforms, as well as a number of other issues. During the 2021 IGF, everyone has the right to express their opinion on the future of the Internet. You too can influence this debate!
